3 News Investigates: How Cuyahoga County is spending its $117 million opioid settlement


CLEVELAND — The Covid-19 pandemic has been overshadowing a long-standing public health crisis in Ohio and Cuyahoga County: opioid addiction.

Overdose deaths hit record levels last spring as the pandemic took hold and left people isolated. Covid-related restrictions that limited capacity of treatment centers  prevented some from getting help.
