DEA seized 379 million doses of fentanyl in 2022

Federal drug enforcement agents millions of deadly fentanyl pills last year.
The Drug Enforcement Administration recently announced that in 2022 alone, they seized over 50.6 million fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills, more than double the amount seized in 2021, according to a DEA news release. Along with over 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder, the DEA laboratory estimates that these seizures would account for more than 379 million potentially deadly doses.
