Ohio on verge of $808 million deal with opioid distributors, Ohio AG shares

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said the state is close to making an $808 million settlement with opioid distributors possible thanks to local support.

"I understand the need to carefully consider this issue," Yost said. "But without a trial date, no subdivision will do any better than this deal in a standalone negotiation—and time is of the essence.
