Ohio Realtors Association distributing disposable medicine bags to prevent opioid abuse

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Raiding your medicine cabinet while you're trying to sell your home is not too farfetched as you may think. That’s why the Ohio Realtors Association is coming up with a new way to fight drug abusers. It’s on a mission to prevent opioid misuse. In fact, it already distributed more than 6,000 disposable medicine bags to help people properly dispose of their old medicine.

Chris Reese is the President of the Ohio Realtors Association and she showed us how to properly dispose of old medication in her medicine cabinet.
