Board members of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation, a private, nonprofit corporation charged with distributing funds for local opioid-abuse relief, recovery and prevention efforts, held their monthly public meeting Feb. 8 at the County Commissioners Association of Ohio in Columbus.

This was the 29-member board’s ninth public meeting since its formation in May 2022, continuing work to establish fundamental policies to guide the Foundation’s mandate to distribute more than $450 million in opioid settlement funds across the state.

“The work accomplished at this meeting and throughout the Foundation’s formative months is helping establish lasting standards to ensure our long-term success in addressing opioid addiction and abuse in Ohio,” said Board Chair Larry Kidd. “I’m grateful to our members and staff for the energy and expertise they’ve put into this lengthy but vital process.”
