St. Clairsville Joins In Opioid Lawsuit

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The city council voted unanimously Monday to join with OneOhio in participating in a settlement of $1.03 billion with three major opioid distributors and Johnson & Johnson.

Law Director Elizabeth Glick said the city stands to get $26,000 to be used for drug outreach, education and enforcement, but she does not know when it might be received. She said OneOhio was formed to negotiate on behalf of Ohio’s political subdivisions.
