Where's our money? And how much will we get?

NORWALK — How are local officials supposed to fight the opioid epidemic when they don't know how much money they'll be receiving from opioid settlement funds?

That was the question on the minds of the Huron County commissioners at their meeting on Tuesday.

To start the discussion off, board members unanimously approved accepting the terms of their part the National Opioid Settlement Agreement with Meijer Inc., Meijer Distribution Inc., Meijer Stores Limited Partnership and Meijer Great Lakes Limited Partnership.
